Graphic Designer

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Graphic Designer to work at our jewellery company, who loves to work in a reactive small business environment. The potential candidate must be pro-active and constantly striving to inspire, elevate and improve. You must be an excellent communicator and have a commercial eye. You will be a crucial part of a small team at an exciting part of our growth journey. 

The Role:

Design and deliver beautiful & engaging web, email, digital advertising and print graphics for our target customer, whilst striving to innovate and make a visual impact. You will also help maximise revenue opportunities and profitability of the brand, whilst adhering to and crafting the brand aesthetic.

Candidate profile:

· Complimentary taste level that fits with the brand handwriting and ethos, with a keen eye for detail

· Competent Illustrator and Photoshop skills, and experience with animation & video. HTML knowledge (for design) is preferred

· Experience designing for digital channels: websites, social media platforms & email marketing (Shopify, Klaviyo, Social Channels, Google Adwords)

· Has a passion for fonts/typography, layouts and photography would be an advantage

· Has a passion for the fashion/accessories industry

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate competently and clearly

· Strong organisational and task management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work in a fast moving reactive business with multiple, and sometimes tight, deadlines

· Someone innovative who can think outside the box, but is also happy working within the parameters of the brand look & feel

· Someone who has worked agency side but also has client side experience would be an advantage

· At least 3 years graphic design experience in the fashion/accessories industry working with a strong pedigree of brands

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all brand assets to adhere with the upcoming marketing focuses

• Work closely with the Digital team to create weekly marketing emails

• Build beautiful, engaging and revenue driving homepages for the website

• Create social media assets which speak to our target customer & drive engagement

• Work on ad hoc print projects (i.e in-order flyers, lookbooks, leaflets)

• Present competitor analysis/mood boards/inspiration for product launches and campaigns

• Attend the weekly Marketing Meeting and action any design tasks promptly

Previously the business had a large concession business in partnership with High Street retailers, however, since 2020 the business has focussed on its own website and wholesale business. Based on the South Coast, the brand will soon be relocating to the heart of Brighton.
