Part-time business writer - LinkedIn and Twitter

We are looking for an experienced writer, able to create high quality, short and impactful English language content across Linkedin and Twitter, covering a range of business topics. 

As well as content development you will also be able to provide out of hours publishing support to global executives. 

You can be based remotely, or near one of our European hubs (Brighton, Barcelona, Madrid), working closely with teams based in the UK and Spain.

Like everyone we are currently mainly working from home, but we maintain a membership at Platf9rm in Brighton in the UK, and our own offices in Barcelona and Madrid. We imagine moving back to a flexible arrangement (part in the office, part from home) at some point.

This role will suit someone who is happy to work both flexibly and remotely.
 

Responsibilities

  • Hours equivalent of 1-2 working days per week

  • Senior client liaison via WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams

  • Writing and editing of social content

  • Image selection, sourcing and composition

  • Content optimisation (profile tags, hashtags etc)

  • OOH support requirement 18:00 - 23:00 UK time, estimated 1 to 2 / days a week, included in the number of agreed overall working hours. The days themselves will change based on client needs. We will provide more detail on this following your application.
     

Requirements

  • Good communicator, with the confidence and ability to support senior clients, we need you to be ‘a safe pair of hands’ as well as a good writer

  • Relevant experience (minimum 3 years) writing business content, ideally for Linkedin and Twitter

  • Strong writing and copy editing skills

  • Experience working with demanding stakeholders

  • Rebel spirit, we’d like you to challenge us to improve the work

  • Spanish language skills would be a bonus

  • 6 month contract and pay dependent on experience and suitability for the role

  • May suit an experienced freelancer, again we would expect a negotiation on day rates based on confirming a set number of hours / days each week
