An exciting opportunity for a Senior Creative Artworker to join a fun and vibrant team working in funky offices in the heart of the North Laines in Brighton.

Wilbury Stratton’s offering comprises of both print and digital material. As the Senior Creative Artworker you will be predominantly creating small, medium, and large reports for our external clients. These reports are largely copy based and contain a percentage of charts, graphs and tables that will need formatting as well as some bespoke infographics specific to each project. In conjunction with the main reports there are also insights, white papers, proposals, and presentations that will keep you busy. You will also be developing assets for digital use for Wilbury Stratton’s web site, emails, and social media platforms.
Don’t panic, this may sound like a lot, but it won’t all be thrown at you in one go. The reports are all planned out in advance, and you will be working to a strict schedule agreed by the sales and research teams which will have been discussed with you beforehand. That said, there will always be smaller, more creative projects that will come your way without warning with shorter deadlines, so you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt and manage your time effectively.
You will be covering parental leave for Wilbury Stratton’s Creative Director and as much as this is principally an artworker role there will always be opportunities for you to flex your creative/designer muscles if you desire, good ideas are always welcomed. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression as you will be the standalone creative within thebusiness for six months. However, you will always have remote support from the Creative Director as and when needed, throughout the term of your contract.
Everything will be set up for you to hit the ground running and there will be a good hand over period with the Creative Director to make sure you are comfortable and up to speed. You will be working within existing brand guidelines and will have access to our asset library (affectionally known as ‘Crayon Corner’) for all the resource you need, inclusive of:

- Reference archive of all past print and digital material
The position of Senior Creative Artworker is office-based, working in Brighton HQ for a minimum of two days a week initially. The office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. However, Wilbury Stratton is flexible regarding the rest of your working week and fully supports remote working to suit your requirements.
Wilbury Stratton fosters a cool, casual working environment, with designated chill out areas and hosts regular social events and the all-important early finish on Friday's (work permitting of course).
The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, pro rata, inclusive of employee benefits such as private healthcare and pension contributions.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design
- 3-5 years artworker experience (inhouse or agency)
- Expert knowledge Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat
- Working Knowledge of MS Office
- The ability to create print ready artwork and develop assets for digital use
- The ability to ensure artwork is consistent, accurate and follows brand guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail for proofing and design sign-off
- The ability to adapt and manage your time efficiently
- The ability to manage and update in-house asset library
- Good people skills to build relationships with the team and other stakeholders
- Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills
