Videographer

Balconette, a leading specialist in the manufacture and supply of high-quality Balustrades, Juliet Balconies and Curved Glass Doors is looking for a sharp Videographer to join our great team.

Reporting into the Content Manager you will have the opportunity to shine and unleash your camera and storytelling skills to showcase Balconette. Helping to develop and strengthen this area within the expanding Marketing Department, the role will be an integral part of the team where you will be creating marketing videos for main customer sectors including domestic and trade.

This is new and exciting role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to incorporate their own skills and talent whilst driving the business forward. The role will also require some external client visits.

Responsibilities

Collates material through filming and image sourcing to edit and produce high quality videos

· Research and script video and animation to answer customer questions

· Biographies

· Product and service fit videos

· Landing page videos

· Cost and pricing videos

· Customer journey /case study videos

· About us / profile videos / interviews

· 4-8 “new material” videos per month

· Edit and create social media snippets optimised for main social platforms

· Develop and maintain company video channels

Researches and sources required equipment and software for assignments

Creates message concepts and storyboards for approval by management

Plans and executes on site preparation and filming, producing and editing videos for approval

Liaises with all necessary stakeholders and participants,

Excellent communication skills in writing and producing scripts

Conducting face to face interviews with internal and external clients

Experience in logging, keywording, labelling and archiving AV material for database storage

Keeping up-to-date with latest technologies including 3D/AR/VR

Must haves

Graduated in either journalism, education, video production, graphic design, photography.

Proficient with video editing software e.g Adobe Premiere; Final Cut

Experience of Adobe products: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects

Proficiency in storyboarding, scripting conceptualising

Understand fundamentals of branding and narrative presentation of brand aims

Ability to identify quality issues with audio and video

Understands basics of social media video parameters

Video Editing Experience

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
