UX Designer

We are looking to welcome a mid-level UX Designer to Major Digital to become an effective member of our small, talented team.

We are looking for a UX designer who puts ‘the customer’ at the heart of everything! Someone who can run stakeholder workshops and conduct requirements analysis activities to understand our clients’ needs and find a balance with the needs of their end users. Someone who can run projects from concept through to delivery, researching and translating business and user needs into meaningful, easy to use, and engaging solutions across a range of platforms.

Day-to-day tasks

Day-to-day you will be working with our design and development teams to create, test and refine ideas for our clients.

You will need to be able to identify and communicate research needs and then select the most appropriate approach using both quantitative and qualitative research techniques to generate actionable and impactful insights.

You will be comfortable conducting user research and reporting findings back to clients and the design teams you work with.

You will be able to use a variety of analytical tools to evaluate and analyse customer behaviour and feedback.

You will be comfortable using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD to develop design assets such as sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.

You will be required to present design ideas and receive feedback with an open mind. Excellent communication skills and an ability to make the complicated sound easy and simple are paramount, as is an ability to keep clients motivated and clear on tasks and objectives.


  • Minimum of 3+ years working in a customer focused role.
  • Fully conversed in latest UX tools and software.
  • Have a toolbox of facilitation & workshop techniques to encourage the best output from our clients.
  • A portfolio showing your process applied to recent work.


  • £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
