Digital Media Assistant

On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for the creation, management and optimisation of client campaigns across a spectrum of digital advertising platforms. You will also help to drive the automation of processes within the digital team, using your background in computing. 

 

Media

As a Digital Media Assistant you will be trained up to create and manage media campaigns across all digital marketing channels, including paid search (PPC), online video, display and paid social.

A key part of the role will involve working closely with our automation team to identify and automate existing processes within the digital media team. You will also be expected to utilise your analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large data sets.

As part of our team you will deliver award winning integrated media solutions that push the boundaries of our industry.

You will be responsible for the core channel executions within campaigns and aip product development & innovation in these areas. These channels include (but are not limited to) paid search, shopping, paid social, influencer marketing, online display, video and audio advertising.
 

Daily responsibilities 

  • Working closely with the Digital Director and wider digital team, you’ll help execute client campaigns across our core digital service lines (PPC, SEO, Social and Programmatic).

  • Monitor and optimise the performance of digital media campaigns to meet and surpass client targets.

  • Identify problems within existing digital processes and automate them. 

  • Establish, maintain and develop strong client relationships via email, face to face and phone calls.

  • Producing post-campaign analysis, analysing campaign results and creating actionable insights to feed into future campaigns.

  • Develop your understanding and exposure digital channel management and wider industry talking points and their influence on strategy for our clients.

  • Using our suite of insights tools, you will help to interpret data and gather insights to fuel strategy for our clients.

  • Bring our values to life in everything you do. 


Connectivity and Automation 

As a core pillar of our business we expect you to help us to connect and automate everything we can.

Within your role as a Digital Media Assistant we want you to contribute to the development of bespoke tools that can help our business innovate, grow and differentiate from the competition.

You will also learn how to create and develop client reports through our reporting product, becoming an expert in our dashboarding technology and deliver world class insights that wow clients.

Finally, as part of a team we want you to develop your skills in emerging technologies and help shape our product capabilities.
 

Knowledge 

We bring value to our clients by being the smartet people in the room. In any room. So our knowledge capabilities need to be second to none. As a core part of our team you will work on and undertake bespoke research projects for clients and the agency. 

You may be asked to help us to develop and deliver training programmes for our clients. You will contribute thought leadership across our business and the industry, delivering insightful blog posts on our website and the trade press.

Finally, and most importantly, you will have a ruthless desire to improve through ongoing self-development.
 

Duties & Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing digital marketing campaigns to effectively promote the brands, products, or services of aip clients.
  • Analyse data to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
  • Monitor performance to ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
  • Make optimisation recommendations to improve campaign performance.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates on the status of their marketing campaigns and make suggestions to increase effectiveness when necessary.
  • Write report commentary to summarise the performance and insights of client campaigns.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor, analyse and model performance and data accuracy.
  • Identify areas of the business that could be improved through automation.
     

Skills and Qualifications

Must haves:

  • Coding languages (particularly Javascript, Python and R).

  • Mathematics – a high level of proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.

  • Communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, write attention grabbing ad copy and insightful report commentary.

  • Time management – being able to juggle multiple activities and client accounts, ensuring on time delivery of all required tasks.

Highly desired:

  • Statistical programming languages (Python, R).

  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms.

  • Understanding of digital marketing.

  • Expert in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
