Junior Insights Analyst


The Pi Datametrics Customer Team is responsible for understanding our customers’ business objectives and delivering against these by building long-lasting, valuable relationships with key customer contacts. The Pi Datametrics platform is at the heart of everything we do and this together with an optional range of reporting, support and consultancy services provides the overall customer solution. The Junior Insights Analyst role is new within the team. This individual will be responsible for delivering customer and market insights and for producing customer dashboards and reports. They will work closely with the Senior Insights Manager, Customer Success Managers and Search Experts within the team as well as with other teams across the business. The successful candidate must be technically minded with a love of all things data. They will need to be able to build strong customer partnerships and opportunities for growth within a SaaS business.

Required Skills

  • Interest in Digital Marketing and SEO in particular
  • Technically minded – understands and loves data but can also articulate insights
  • Confident using Google Analytics
  • Advanced with spreadsheet formulas
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Data Studio, Tableau or Power Bi are a bonus
  • SQL/ API skills are also desirable although not essential
  • Great customer facing skills – will need to connect with internal and external stakeholders and develop lasting relationships with customers
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, work independently, show initiative, multitask and get things done
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal (particularly on video calls), in person & presenting


  • Contribute to achieving team targets (including retention, platform engagement and opportunity generation)
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts with a view to better understand their needs and challenges
  • Provide support for customer onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high quality work across planning and insight, SEO and analytics and ensure successful outcomes for customers
  • Support Search experts in uncovering insights and formulating strategy based on customer objectives
  • Manage all aspects of customer admin in our Customer Success platform, scheduling & attending calls and meetings
