Job Title: Digital and Print Designer

Location: Brighton (min 3 days a week in the office - 2 days could be remote but not preferable)
Hours: 9am-5.00pm Monday to Friday
As one of the fastest-growing brands in the premium nail beauty category, our industry leading products have been seen on the world’s most influential celebrities from the Kardashian sisters to Katy Perry and J-Lo. After substantial growth over the last year, we are now expanding our creative team further to support the wider business on the exciting projects ahead.
We are looking for candidates with proven multi-channel retail experience (B2C or B2B) to join our vibrant creative team to deliver marketing and product campaigns from concept through to design and artwork. Workload is a 50/50 print/digital split.
Acting as a brand guardian, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and maintaining brand identity in all design outputs. This role requires loads of creativity, a strong eye for detail and an innovative approach - whether the focus is UX, campaign creation, typography or event design.
We are looking for candidates with proven print and packaging experience to join our vibrant creative team, to support the business in delivering innovative design solutions. Working to brand standards and playing a key role in the design and implementation of new packaging guidelines; this role requires an understanding of print process and production, along with an understanding of how this works within the bigger brand picture.
Working closely with the Head of NPD and Head of Creative, this role will be pivotal in shaping the look and feel of new product launches and delivering branded print assets into the business. The role will be a mix of packaging design, brand design and artworking; so demonstrating experience of this will be needed. We’re looking for a passion for layout, materials, finishes and typography, plus a proven track record of creating production ready artwork to the highest possible standards.
Experience in digital design and customer journey is a plus, as well as an ability to deliver campaign assets across all channels to strict deadlines. A natural interest in all thing's beauty; the ability to research and create mood boards for design briefs, to conceptualise all customer touch points (from packaging to advertorials and email campaigns) while maximising creative opportunities that drive conversion and build brand awareness.
Also if you have packaging design experience – that is a plus. Experience in working to brand guidelines, guidelines creation and logo design.
Comfortable with working closely with our Head of Creative, Chief Marketing Officer and our Founder and CEO to capture design briefs and evolve creative, plus a positive and collaborative approach to working cross-departmentally.
The ability to develop strong, professional relationships with suppliers to support in the print production process.
Technical Skills Required:
Essential: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional + Microsoft Office
Preferred: Sketch, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, 3D Visualisation software
Professional Skills Required:
3+ years Design industry experience, preferably within fashion, retail or beauty
Good time management with the ability to work at pace. Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines with a well organised approach.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and accuracy throughout the full Art working process
Calm under pressure with a proactive and ambitious attitude.
Confident presenting and explaining ideas
An interest in packaging innovation and trends
