Jollywise are a creative digital studio, who play in the children’s and family space. We create Games, Apps, Websites and experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who loves the creative application of technology to make fun stuff, new stuff, cool stuff. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable managing but happy to jump in and get hands on in a project.
Technology lead, responsible for the technology stack and our small team of developers. This is an important role that will see you responsible for maintaining and improving our technology offering, whilst managing and developing our talented team of Devs.
Our ideal candidate would have experience working in a busy digital studio, and have had experience of being both hands on and managing development teams with multiple work flows, working on websites, apps, games and interactive experiences. A great understanding of hosted environments specifically AWS is important. A brilliant communicator with an innate ability to translate the complicated into language everyone understands, especially stakeholders.
- Manage Internal Technology workflows.
- Contribution to Senior Leadership team as Tech Lead.
- Defining tech requirements for client/internal projects

Office located a very short walk from Mainline station.
Salary Range - £45k - £60k (depending on experience)
We are open to considering, flexible or part-time working.
The company is currently working mostly remotely, with limited a number of staff going in, the office is large enough for social distancing to be maintained throughout.
The future plan is to move to flexible working with 2 days out of 3 being fixed office days and the rest Optional to Work from home or come in. We are following the latest scientific advice, and watching the situation closely, nobody is currently being asked to work in the office if they do not want to.
