MPB’s tech team has reached a new phase of growth and we are actively recruiting for a number of people to join us with skills in:
- React (Vanilla/NextJS)
- Progressive web technology
We are the world’s leading marketplace for photographers and videographers to buy and sell equipment and as well as being a tech first business, sustainability is ingrained in our business model and values.
An investment in tech is at the forefront of our company’s mission with a clear vision of what our product should be. Our culture is about quality and openness within the team.
You will be using React to build features on our cutting edge e-commerce platform and internal back office software, consuming native Python APIs in a service-oriented architecture within a containerised environment.
You'll work closely with your scrum team and product owners to realise features making use of progressive technologies including server-side rendering, CSS-in-JS, GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines and more.
The role is based in our head office in Ship Street, Brighton with a team of co-located skilled engineers and product professionals. We currently operate a hybrid working pattern to support days in the office alongside days working remotely.
We aim to be as flexible as we can be so if you’re interested in part time working, or job share options then let us know.
MPB is going through a period of rapid growth and this is the ideal time to join if you enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our platform is evolving and there are plenty of opportunities for you to develop cross-discipline skills and develop your career through dedicated R&D time and collaboration.
We support our staff and their careers in every way we can.
We provide 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, 4% employer contributory pension scheme, private healthcare from your start date and flexible hybrid working options.
You will also have access to our EAP, a range of employee discounts, a buzzing social calendar and a dog friendly workplace.
