Business Development (Partnerships) Executive

We’re looking for an experienced Partnerships Executive to join our team!

This role will showcase and promote Crunch products and services across all relevant industries and sectors to support the business in achieving our desired levels of growth in the Partnerships area. 

Whilst working closely with the Sales & Partnerships Manager, Sales & Partnerships Team and Marketing Team, this role will develop and nurture a pipeline of existing and future sales and partnership opportunities to drive revenue and business growth. They will build relationships quickly, with the passion to succeed in a fast paced, results driven business!

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Becoming an external facing ambassador for the Crunch brand, maintaining a prominent profile when working in our offices or remotely.

  • Being a key point of contact for all prospective partners, instilling and embedding the Crunch ethos and vision as champions of freelancers, contractors and small businesses.

  • Striving to increase and improve Crunch partnerships, through close collaboration with contacts in various relevant industries and sectors; whilst establishing and maintaining networks with relevant agencies, thinking outside of the box to identify new potential partnership opportunities.

  • Working towards meeting and exceeding agreed targets for Crunch Partnership sign ups (including channel, technology, referral, affiliate and strategic).

  • Utilising the Salesforce CRM system to produce reports from dashboard information and log calls undertaken with sales and marketing partners. 

  • Reporting on a weekly and monthly basis on pipeline activity, progress and achievements to the Sales & Partnerships Manager. 

  • Delivering relevant and engaging presentations to external prospective partners to raise awareness of Crunch in the marketplace

  • Organising participation as exhibitors at events to promote the Crunch brand, products and services to prospective and existing clients and partners.

  • Ensuring that Crunch delivers on any promises or contractual agreements made with agencies so mutual expectations are managed, and proactively highlight any issues to the Sales & Partnerships Manager. 

  • Ensuring all contractual documentation with potential and existing partners is prepared correctly and referred to the Sales & Partnerships Manager for sign off.

  • Monitoring the ways in which our agency partners promote and advertise Crunch to ensure that our standards are met and maintained.

  • Raising awareness and maintaining ongoing communication with our internal stakeholders to heighten the profile of our agency partnerships.

  • Researching the market regularly, tracking competitor activity and identifying any blockers to growth.

  • Being a point of contact on Crunch accountancy partnership referrals, managing the process, liaising with them to generate leads and following them up.

  • Working closely with our Marketing team to drive the creation of dedicated spaces on landing pages on Partner sites to maximise traffic, whilst assisting with and overseeing email campaigns for our partners to ensure these meet specifications.   

You will need:

  • Experience of business development in a junior level role and success in recruiting partnerships to a partnership programme, creating opportunities, closing business and exceeding targets.

  • Willingness to thrive and hit the ground running in a fast-paced and tech savvy environment.

  • Demonstrable ability to build and develop positive and robust working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.

The following experience is not essential, but would be beneficial:

  • Awareness of potential changes to IR35 legislation and how we can support agencies, end clients (employers) and contractors. 

  • Awareness of the features of a ‘Saas’ business and topical issues within the wider business landscape.
