Front-end Developer at Charanga
About you
We're looking for a front-end developer, capable of working in HTML, CSS and Javascript. You’ll work with our designer and back-end team to deliver production front-end code.
You’ve probably got a few years experience of front-end development and would be able to evidence relevant work and experience.
You’ll be working on a learning platform that is used by tens of thousands of students and teachers every day, so a focus on the user experience is key.
About us
In a nutshell, Charanga helps teachers to teach music, and students to learn, by providing interactive resources, curricula, materials and training, all delivered through our online platform.
We’ve been at the forefront of our industry for over 20 years and are used by a majority of UK primary schools and Music Education Hubs. We’re growing quite rapidly, both in Europe and internationally, and have just launched our secondary school offering.
Charanga is a family-friendly company, with an understanding that school plays, special assemblies and unexpected childcare are all part of life, and we do our absolute best to support you with this.
Our working environment, with lovely Brighton seafront views, is informal, fun and rewarding, but it’s also hard working, deadline-driven and at times can be slightly chaotic. At the moment we’re all largely working from home.
