UX Lead

Are you an experienced and collaborative UX professional, looking for an opportunity to lead a team and strategically develop the UX function?

MPB is the leading platform for buying and selling used photography and videography equipment around the world. We’ve grown significantly in the last few years and are now recruiting for a UX Lead to oversee the creation of our digital experiences, ensuring we are consistently delivering journeys that delight our customers whilst helping them achieve their goals. 

This is a new position at MPB and the ideal opportunity for someone who wants to direct the UX strategy, whilst helping the product team make tactical UX decisions. You will have the opportunity to shape what UX is at MPB and have a direct impact on us as we continue to grow. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving the user experience of our core platforms across multiple contexts (desktop, tablet, mobile), as well as identifying new opportunities for the product roadmap. 

  • Manage, mentor and support more junior members of the UX design team. 

  • Optimise design and collaboration processes. 

  • Promote UX design practices across MPB.

  • Foster a “Test and Learn” approach.

Requirements

  • Significant UX design experience 

  • A thorough understanding of user-centred design

  • Team leadership experience 

  • Collaborative and empathetic attitude with a passion for the user experience. 

  • Highly strategic with a desire to push what is possible within the digital space. 

  • Hands-on experience of exploratory and evaluative qualitative research methods.
