Sales Account Manager

The Progress Film Company is an ambitious, creative led, full service production studio based in Brighton. We are constantly exploring new ways to create outstanding work and are looking for a Sales & Account Manager, to nurture existing clients and develop new business leads.

We are looking for someone motivated, personable and passionate about the arts and film. They will truly understand our culture, offering and ethos in order to communicate it to new and existing clients in every interaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a production and/or agency environment in a sales or account management role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the wider team on pitch presentations, negotiating and closing business with new and existing clients.
  • Helping to grow existing clients through regular communication to understand their current business needs and opportunities.
  • Gaining an understanding of competitors and industry trends to develop sales technique and strategy, working to a fixed financial and client acquisition target per quarter.
  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the wider team.
  • Following up with clients to ensure they are happy with the services they received and enquire about new opportunities or referrals, providing feedback and analysis internally to better processes after each project.
  • Help explore viable avenues for company promotion across PR and social platforms.
  • Attending events and opportunities to network and showcase the work of the company, acting as a Progress ambassador at all times.
  • Have an active involvement in the events we run for our filmmaking community.
