About us 

Wired Sussex is the independent membership organisation for digital, media and technology companies and freelancers based in Sussex. Our aim is to support and grow this fantastic sector and to help our members thrive through a number of services, initiatives and events.

We have been instrumental in helping to grow the region’s cluster of games, web, TV and tech businesses, that together underpin many thousands of regional jobs and deliver more than £1bn in annual revenues in Brighton alone. We run networking events, business support and recruitment services as well as the Fusebox innovation centre. We also develop and deliver strategic projects, often alongside local and central government, that attract investment and help strengthen the sector’s regional ecosystem.

The role

We operate with a small and dedicated team and a committed board of non-exec directors that together help our organisation punch significantly above its weight. We are now looking for a new CEO who can help both Wired Sussex and the sector we support to prosper and grow.

This is a unique opportunity to take the helm and lead our community into 2023 and beyond. 

We would especially welcome interest from women and other groups that are currently under-represented in our sector. 

Salary more than £60k + bonus pa, plus benefits - package to be agreed with the successful candidate.

This will be a full-time role.

Based at the FuseBox, New England House, Brighton.
