Freelance Fullstack Web Developer

TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES is a small and agile digital marketing technology start-up that primarily works with UK universities and education providers by selling its proprietary website notification tool, cues.ai.

The cues.ai website tool is focused on lightweight audience-focused website personalisation, guiding prospective students towards content and “next steps” they may be interested in.

About the role

We are looking for a part-time freelance full-stack web developer to join our small team to help support the growth of cues.ai through product maintenance and the development of new features according to our road map. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, well versed in writing maintainable and well-documented production-level code in NodeJS, React, Python and Django, as well as working with AWS cloud services. 

If you don’t quite meet all of these requirements, but can still write scalable and high-quality code, we’d still like to hear from you. 

The role is 100% remote with in-person meet-ups in the Sussex area. Expected 3-6 flexible working hours per week, with potential to increase over time.

This is an ideal position for an experienced mid to senior-level freelance developer looking for an exciting side project in which they could become a key technical influence in its growth over the next 18+ months.
