We Are Systematic is a digital product design agency based in the UK, part of the Snapp Mobile family of companies. We design digital products of all types for our clients, from apps to websites, wearables to in-car experiences. We specialise in evidence-based design, and one of our founding philosophies is that research, design and development are not separate but rather all different flavours of the same thing.

We’re a startup but have managed to establish ourselves quickly and sustainably through high-quality work and a methodical and consistent approach to projects. As one of the first members of a growing team, this is an opportunity to help build and grow the business whilst working alongside some generally excellent and lovely people.

We work fully remote, but we have a cluster of people in the Brighton area allowing for coworking and/or social meetups.


The Role

This is an entry level role, ideal for someone looking to get experience with life at an agency.  We’re looking for someone to help with our internal resourcing and marketing work, along with other admin tasks generally associated with the smooth running of the agency.

You’ll work independently and largely remotely, but your colleagues will be just a call or slack message away to support you if you hit a problem, as well as regular meetings to check in chat about all things marketing and recruitment. 



As a fast-growing start-up with a range of established clients, promoting our trade is a vital part of winning new business. We specialise in evidence-based design, but this isn’t strictly limited to the design process - it carries over to how we market ourselves too. 

On completion of a project, one of your tasks as a People & Marketing Assistant is to create an informed case study about the design process. These case studies are vital to ensure that our UX and UI thinking is clearly documented and can be called upon when approaching future clients. Through working with the designers, you’ll learn how the brief was approached and executed, later transcribing this information into presentations. 

Working on case studies will give you an understanding of not just how we do things but also the type of clients we work with and the projects we take on. With this knowledge in mind, you’ll be able to undertake independent research and help source new potential business opportunities. As a start-up, we need someone who can take initiative and think outside of the box.



Another aspect of your role as the People & Marketing Assistant is to keep on top of all things recruitment. We are always on the hunt for talented UX/UI designers and researchers, so our outreach is ongoing. We primarily use LinkedIn for this process: finding potential candidates,  retrieving CV’s and portfolios and managing intro calls and corresponding with prospective hires and freelancers. Careful management of this process is vital to make sure we’ve always got the right person for the job.

This position would suit someone who has experience or an interest in marketing and design. You should be curious, self motivated and a strong communicator. Understanding of digital marketing – Social Media Platforms, particularly LinkedIn, scheduling and social trends are ideal.

We believe in process, and we believe process is everyone’s responsibility. You’ll be helping to define and improve the way we do things as well as benefiting from the structure and learnings laid down to date.
