UX Designer

Are you a mid-level UX Designer looking to work with a progressive design team?

MPB is the market leading platform for buying, selling and trading photography and videography kit. We are product led and have just launched the latest version of our platform with the aim to continue developing this and providing our customers with the best experience possible. 

This position is based in our Brighton office for 2 days per week, with the rest of the time spent working remotely. 

You’ll take on a varied position involving:

  • Translating our users’ needs into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. 

  • Working closely with the rest of the Product Team to help shape the overall functionality of the product. 

  • Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions. 

  • Taking a user centred design approach, you will rapidly test and iterate designs to continually improve our platform. 

Ultimately you'll play a central role in making our product more user-friendly and intuitive. 

Skills you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable UX design experience

  • UX software experience i.e Figma

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experience that meets user needs and product vision. 

  • User-centred design approach 

  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently. 

  • UX Research and Testing methodologies
