We are seeking a talented individual to sit between our Development and Marketing teams to help increase Cyclr’s presence, engagement and profile across relevant internal and external development networks and communities.
The Developer Advocate role will suit an experienced developer looking to transition into a commercial/client facing role. You will be drawing on your programming experience to both interact with and advise the community, actively participating in general developer-centric networks and creating developer focused content. Your role will primarily focus on being a mentor for those facing challenges in the native integration world, whether they use an iPaaS or not.
Cyclr develops a powerful SaaS integration toolkit for SaaS companies. With Cyclr clients can quickly create, manage and deliver an amplified suite of integrations from within their own application.

About the role
The objective of the role is to increase Cyclr’s presence and profile across relevant technical networks and communities, engaging with your peers and acting as a knowledge bridge between our engineering team and the developer community.
You will focus on helping your peers with API centric integration challenges whether they use an iPaaS or not.
Whilst you will be providing knowledge and support for free to the tech community, ultimately your endeavours will be supplementing the lead generation efforts of our Marketing team through raising Cyclr’s community presence and reputation.
You will become the voice of Cyclr on external technical forums, engaging technical audiences by participating in value-add conversations within groups and Slack channels.
You will be pivotal in the development of engagement within our internal Community Site.
You will assist with the creation of developer focused content, for both internal and external community consumption.
You will be expected to have proactive involvement in the creation, deployment and quality control of the Cyclr technical documentation suite.
You will be expected to stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
Monitor, track and report on internal and external engagement.
You will work across the Product Marketing and Development teams and will report into our Senior Product Marketing Manager.
Experience developing and working with APIs and integrations natively within applications and, ideally, using an iPaaS.
A desire to share solutions and knowledge with others.
Ability to troubleshoot development issues and to provide guidance.
An eye for creating tools and code examples to help solve user problems.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver.
Experience participating in online and offline developer communities and ecosystems (e.g., open-source platforms, blogs, YouTube videos, tech conferences, hackathons, meetups, technical teaching, blogging and training).

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location
We welcome candidates from across the South East and have offices in East Croydon and Brighton that our staff can access anytime, alongside remote working where preferred.
Our core hours are 9-5, Monday-Friday but we are open to flexible working requests.
