Content Marketer

THE ROLE

Our clients have amazing and unique stories to tell, but their marketing success depends on how and where we tell those stories.

We’re on the lookout for someone truly exceptional with a talent for turning stories into content that moves and inspires as well as compels and converts. We need a creative mind that understands ‘content’ can mean anything you consume with your senses.

The person we’re looking for will have experience in content production across several mediums, such as video and audio. You will be driven to find out all there is to know about emerging formats and platforms.

Top tier writing skills are essential. You’ll be someone who loves to write and has a keen eye for detail.

You’ll possess the desire to understand our customers' audience and will be responsible for producing content that engages these audiences at different stages of the marketing funnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate for this position can demonstrate their experience in multiple facets of content production and marketing. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Devising content strategies aligned with our clients' marketing goals
  • Execution of a wide range of content related tasks including keyword research, content auditing, content optimisation, content reporting, influencer marketing and copywriting
  • Persona development and understanding the needs of our customers, customers
  • Commission, research, write, edit and proof content for our clients (and for us)
  • Support in the promotion of our content services by contributing to our marketing activities
  • Leading our content contributions to new business pitches
  • Presenting content strategies and solutions to clients and colleagues
  • Working alongside the Head of Creative to innovate and improve our creative services
  • Working alongside our Paid Media Analyst to devise content amplification solutions
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build trust and empathy with colleagues, clients, partners and collaborators
  • Leading idea generation sessions with our team and clients

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of content creation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience
  • Demonstrable experience in optimising onsite content to support organic search growth
  • Demonstrable experience in devising content strategies for a range of businesses
  • Experience in setting goals for onsite and offsite content projects
  • Self-sufficient and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at a time
  • Experience in editing, feeding back on and proofing the work of others
  • Comfortable with using social media platforms for research, relationship building and content amplification
  • Fluent in a range of marketing tools, namely for keyword research, competitor research, influencer marketing, reporting, prospecting, and idea generation
  • Confident in communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
  • Working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
  • Photography and videography skills - ideally for use on social media
  • Some experience optimising for platforms like YouTube and TikTok
