We are looking for the right person to lead the Business Engagement team, acting as a point of engagement with key stakeholders in Schools, Professional Services departments and other units, and taking the lead in managing the relationship between IT and the Brighton and Sussex Medical
In this role you will act as a trusted advisor, using your knowledge of IT and your customer engagement skills to work closely with senior stakeholders across the university. You will develop an understanding of business problems and identify opportunities to help address these and enable us to achieve our strategic goals. You will work with other IT colleagues to feed organisational needs into the planning cycle and to manage customer expectations of IT delivery.
You will have:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A track record of supporting customers to achieve their aims.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strengths in planning and prioritising.
- A good understanding of project management and benefits management.
This is a high-profile role, acting as an advocate for an IT department serving a diverse group of users in a multi-campus organisation.
