We now have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic systems administrator to join our Brighton-based team, supporting our UK and global operations.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Setup, Support and maintenance of IT infrastructure hardware and software, reporting directly to the Infrastructure Architect

To support and monitor existing infrastructure; perform preventative maintenance work; backup and perform other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness and to provide cover on such tasks when required

Perform maintenance on our dev, staging and production environments

Undertaking new IT projects as instructed by the Infrastructure Architect

Keeping track of all IT assets and assisting with procurement of new hardware

Ensuring that systems and firmware are checked regularly and kept up to date with the latest releases

Manage regular audits of desktop and anti-virus endpoints to ensure they are kept secure and updated
-
Support and troubleshoot IT issues

Maintaining and creating new IT system documentation
-
VoIP Telephone system administration
-
Supporting developers and projects with new system deployments
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Proven and demonstrable experience in implementing and supporting IT infrastructure
-
Experience with administering Windows Server and UNIX based systems
-
Experience with Virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V
-
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS and RDS
-
Powershell and UNIX shell
-
PC / Mac set up, configuration & troubleshooting
Desired Skills & Experience (not essential):

Networking technologies (common protocols, VLANS, VPNs, firewalls and routers etc.)

Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
-
Experience in SQL Server and IIS
-
Microsoft certification

The role would be predominantly home based in the UK currently, with occasional visits to the Brighton based office necessary to resolve issues, and carry out maintenance tasks, which cannot be handled remotely. Candidates will ideally be locally based in the region of Brighton and Hove.
