We are Brighton Zoo! The marriage of Plug-In Media & Blue Zoo - a brand new animation studio by the sea, designed for a new era of kids' digital content. We are going through an exciting period of growth and are building a studio that is full of amazingly talented, happy artists & production crew, making work they are proud of, which in turn makes a small contribution to a happier world. We’re looking to welcome a Studio Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our team, the Studio Manager will be responsible for the management of all studio operations and for the administration of a small but busy team. You will also act as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director and Creative Director on a day to day basis.
(This opportunity is being offered on a fixed term contract, part time 3-4 days a week).
Day to Day:
- Working as a Personal Assistant to the directors: organising meetings, arranging travel and accommodation, fielding phone calls and managing their busy diaries.

Raising invoices, tracking payments, managing petty cash and budgeting for small scale office projects.

Helping with resources: booking freelancers, managing project resource requests and the time sheet system.

Dealing with and keeping records of company suppliers, clients, freelancers, staff and job applicants.

Managing and tracking Tee and Mo direct-to-consumer product sales. Reporting to partners on royalty payments.

Keeping up with company policies and staff handbook documentation.

Organising company events/activities such as parties, lunches, training and days out.

Overseeing IT system administration: troubleshooting any hardware and/or software issues, co-ordinating external support where required, sourcing and maintaining equipment.

General clerical duties: ordering office supplies, answering phone calls, printing and collating documents, watering plants, maintaining studio space, kitchenette and recycling bins, organising tea & coffee for clients etc.

You will be responsible for overseeing the health & safety within the studio.
Must Have:

Excellent interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software Word, Excel, Powerpoint and G-Doc equivalents.

Experience with using Xero for basic accounting tasks.

Experience working within a Studio/ Office Management role within the media industry.
Bonus Points:
