Marketing Executive

Work the World is an award-winning educational travel organisation that specialises in arranging placements for healthcare students to Africa and Asia.


This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, creative individual to play an integral role within the Work the World marketing department, who are responsible for the growth of quality lead generation to the business.


We are looking for a flexible, versatile marketeer. You’ll get experience across a broad range of marketing channels, have ownership over your areas of responsibility and will work alongside the Marketing team supporting and executing marketing activity, such as content marketing, social media, email marketing campaigns, website development and digital PR.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to support, plan and deliver all multi-channel marketing strategies in-line with our organisational objectives that deliver against an agreed set of KPIs
  • Assist in driving quality leads for each of our global markets
  • Ensuring a multi-channel content strategy is in place at all times for all markets
  • Leading and managing social media strategy across all social channels including: ideation, analysis, content schedules, community management
  • Managing and building upon our email marketing strategy ensuring, and reporting on key metrics and results
  • Editing and proofreading copy created by other marketing team members
  • Supporting the team with implementing website updates, and content/asset refreshes within CMS platform
  • Supporting the development of marketing assets and liaison with the design team, including advertising (print & online)

Skills:

  • A strategic and creative thinker with highly polished written and verbal communications skill
  • The ability to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Social media savvy - experience in overseeing social media platforms including developing and growing an audience, analysing data and identifying trends and opportunities
  • Experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, A/B testing, email optimisation
  • Experience in briefing and working with design teams
  • A solid understanding of CMS/CRM platforms would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in working with teams on website development projects advantageous
