Senior Marketing Executive

Based a stone’s throw from the beach in central Hove, we're a team of passionate skiers, snowboarders and cyclists and are one of the UK's leading specialist tour operators of two successful (and growing!) travel brands: Ski Safari and Freedom Treks.

Ski Safari specialises in extraordinary tailor-made skiing holidays to Scandinavia, North America, Asia and Europe. Freedom Treks offers a wide range of leisurely cycling and walking holidays throughout Europe and Asia.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our small but growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll help drive growth for both of our brands, Ski Safari and Freedom Treks.

Depending on your experience, you might work across the full spectrum of marketing - we do almost everything in-house including content, social, email, search and more - or you might take ownership of one or two areas and help us take them to the next level. The role is flexible to the right person.

About you

You have at least three years of experience in a marketing role, preferably B2C, and you’re up to date on the latest trends and best practice. You don’t just know the what and the how, you know the why.

You’re ready to make a contribution from day one, using your knowledge and experience to help us achieve our marketing goals in 2023 and beyond.

Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience in most of the following areas, or specialises in a few of them:

• Content marketing
• Search - organic & paid
• Social - organic & paid
• Display advertising
• Print advertising
• Email marketing
• Design for web and print
• UX/CRO
• Video production
• Analytics

Tools we use regularly include Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and Premiere Pro), Excel/Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Semrush, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog. You should know most of these tools well, or have experience with similar ones.

A passion for travel is essential and ideally you’re a keen skier or snowboarder. Knowledge of any of our destinations would be a huge advantage.

We’re a small, agile team so you should be able to work flexibly, independently and to a deadline. Working closely with other teams across the business, strong communication skills are important.

The fine print

We’re offering a salary of £25,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on your experience and what you can bring to the company.

This is a full-time, office-based, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm, plus occasional weekend shifts during peak departure periods with time off given in lieu.
