Infrastructure & Systems Administrator

We are looking to recruit an Infrastructure & Systems Administrator for a varied and responsible role within our streaming and AV company based in Hove. 

You will provide assistance with servers, infrastructure and IT related tasks along with ensuring consistency across systems and maintaining office equipment and application servers. 

The role covers system administration, infrastructure responsibilities as well as Windows desktop support, and provisioning of staff equipment. The position will also play a key role within our automated processes including CI and AWS automated deployment / scaling with a combination of virtual and physical hardware / services. 

The role requires a wide range of skills, some of which are set out below but we’re looking more for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn so if you have all or even just some of these skills then get in touch!

Install, configure and maintain services: 

• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch) 
• Provisioning / configuration automation using Ansible / Terraform 
• LAMP : Apache / Nginx / PHP (mod_php and FPM) / MySQL 
• Mail : Postfix / Dovecot / Amavis 
• Jenkins CI / Git / ant 
• NodeJS / npm 
• Ubuntu / Centos / Gentoo Linux 
• pfSense / FreePBX 

You will have great attention to detail and pride in your work. You will be well organised and able to work under pressure at times. There will be occasions when we will need you to work outside of the 'normal' hours to get work completed but we are flexible and happy for you to manage your own working time.
