Senior 2D/3D Designer

The opportunity

You will be responsible for all areas of design required as part of a product’s development, from initial concept visuals through to 3D model creation, product artwork used to brief suppliers and the design of the packaging used to house our products. Uniquely for this role, advanced 2D artwork skills will be supported by strong 3D skills and knowledge, along with experience in designing products with commerciality, function, and brand compliance in mind.

You will have the opportunity to utilise the combination of your 3D & 2D skillset to take ownership of the design process from original ideation and concept visuals, through to final factory-ready artwork.

In addition, you will assist the team in managing day-to-day workloads by tracking tasks and capacity and delegating resources as required, as well as provide art direction and mentoring to other designers across the wider creative team.

What we need you to bring to the team

• 3 years + design experience in similar role, working within pop-culture, gift, home, or tech is ideal.
• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
• Highly skilled using 3D software such as SolidWorks and KeyShot, with ZBrush/Blender knowledge.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to produce style guides and cutter guides and an inherent understanding of branding and visual identity.
• Ability to multitask on many projects at a time.
• Confident presenting and rationalising ideas
