Account Manager

We are seeking a Digital Account Manager to join our small award-winning agency in central Brighton. 

Working closely and collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, UX specialists and strategists, you’ll enjoy the problem solving and collaborative aspects of delivering websites and digital communications for a range of clients. 

You will be working with our existing account managers in providing technical support, communications guidance and excellent customer service for our retained accounts. Our clients span a wide range of sectors, with our portfolio increasingly expanding into the NGO and nonprofit sector, therefore the role would suit someone with an interest in sustainability or humanitarian impact.

We are looking for a natural communicator, with an aptitude for all things digital, someone who is curious, willing to learn, proactive, with a calm and confident approach to their work.

As well as managing projects and being the first point of contact with our clients, you will be contributing to ideation and brainstorming sessions, helping to form marketing, content, and SEO strategies for clients, as well as internally. As a small team, we are looking for someone willing to muck in where necessary and support the team where they can.

What you will be doing day-to-day:

  • Client liaison – you will be the first point of contact for the clients you manage, holding regular calls, writing up contact reports, ensuring the client's bigger picture objectives remain at the forefront of everything we deliver.   

  • Supporting the Retainer Accounts team with analytics and SEO reporting, sharing administrative tasks and making updates to our clients’ websites.

  • Input into marketing strategies – for our clients as well as the Liquid Light marketing output.

  • Writing briefs for and scoping work with the Design and Development teams, prioritising tasks, and ensuring work is delivered on schedule, and of a high quality.

About You

  • A proactive and outgoing personality, who can communicate confidently with clients and team members. 

  • Already a junior or mid-weight account executive or have relevant client-facing experience, either in-house or in an agency.

  • Familiar with marketing, project management, SEO or analytics platforms and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
