Mavis is changing the way people make video content. From capture to production we are re-imagining production workflows with a cloud based model.
What does that mean? Have a look at this video.
Mavis works with industry partners such as Sony, Adobe, Frame.io and Atomos to create unique integrations and our software targets small scale freelancers right up to big broadcaster such as BBC, ITV, Sky and Channel 4. The power of the platform is such that we have delivered content to hundreds of thousands of people on national television, on OTT platforms, on YouTube, and on Twitch.
WHAT DO WE NEED?
We need a product manager with experience in software delivery across a range of products, platforms, and apps. The role will include taking ownership of various aspects of our platform, working with the team to prioritise features and issues and scoping and describing the work required into manageable chunks. As we are small team we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working with multiple hats who can contribute to many areas within the business – from ideas to testing.
If you think this might be you, but you don’t tick all the boxes – get in touch anyway. What is important to us is a solution led mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote-first working set up, but also work together collaboratively where required. We do get together in Brighton once every couple of months, too.
ABOUT YOU

Proven track record of working in a fast-paced product-led software environment
-
Direct experience of, but not limited to, planning, prioritising, testing, and detailed communication
-

-
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done including supporting some of our exciting global partners
-
An eye for design and attention to detail
-
Right to work in the UK
-
Able to get to Brighton every so often
Desirable
- An understanding of content creation and video production desirable
-
Some understanding of live production, content streaming and delivery desirable but not essential
NEXT STEPS
If you think the above sounds like a challenge you can take on, please email us a CV to jobs@mavisbroadcast.com.
The more you can tell us about yourself and your previous roles the better.
We typically have a three stage interview process: an informal 15-min chat, a formal interview (likely with our lead developers), and a final chat with our two co-founders.
Due to the high volume of applications, we typically don’t get the chance to get back to everyone so please don’t be offended if we don’t respond.
