Office Assistant & Project Administrator (initial 3-Month Contract)

Job Description: As an Office Assistant and Project Administrator at Toffee Hammer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our creative projects. While this position initially offers a three-month contract, it presents an opportunity to grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administrative tasks and office organisation.
  • Internet and telephone research, including for film production (e.g. venue searching).
  • Producing accurate production documentation, such as Call Sheets.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy office environment.
  • Assisting with general PA/Secretarial duties.
  • Providing excellent customer service on the phone and via email.
  • Contributing to creative tasks such as moodboarding and idea generation. 
  • Representing the company's values and culture.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside the normal office hours, for example on shoot days.
  • Social media and upkeep of Toffee Hammer website 
  • The possibility of occasional remote work but with the goal of supporting office activities.

Qualifications and Attributes: 

We are looking for a friendly, confident, and professional individual who is self-motivated and has a genuine interest in the creative industries. You should be comfortable with occasional dog supervision in the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be interested in our collaborative work culture, and embrace our core values.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with flexibility).
  • Working day is 8 hours, including a one-hour lunch break.
  • Additional hours may be required for business needs, especially during filming or client meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary negotiable based on experience, up to £25,000 gross per year (Pro Rata).
  • Monthly salary payments via automated bank transfer.
  • 28 days of holiday per holiday year (Pro Rata), in addition to public holidays.
