Production Manager

Description

You will be responsible for leading technical and creative development teams, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality, engaging, and regulatory-compliant online gambling products for both our clients and for West Pier Studio. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, project management expertise, and a deep passion for the gaming industry and gaming products.

Key aspects of the role

Product Ownership: Understand and drive the vision, strategy, and development roadmap for online slot machines and other gambling games.

Team Leadership: Inspire and manage cross-functional teams comprising designers, developers, artists, and QA professionals to create outstanding gaming experiences.

Project Management: Develop, execute, and oversee project plans, encompassing scope definition, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate potential project risks and issues that could affect timelines or quality.
  • Project Administration: Facilitate daily scrums, planning meetings, and creative discussions to guide the team towards project goals.
  • Project Reporting: Utilize Jira to track and report project status, promptly addressing obstacles hindering sprint targets. Deliver regular development progress reports to clients, including video updates and slide presentations.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure milestone achievement aligns with user stories and client expectations.
  • Client Relations: Maintain open communication with clients to manage development timelines effectively.
  • External Integration: Collaborate with external outsourcing solutions when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of ongoing learning and innovation within the teams.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product ownership and / or project management, preferably in the real money gambling industry
  • Strong understanding of the online gambling market and trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong English language skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Consideration will be given to candidates that have more Project Management experience with a view to building Product Owner skills going forwards.
