Job Description:

LEO offers a wide range of software services to support our clients throughout the entire training and development lifecycle. Specialising in learning technologies, our services include multi-device learning, mobile apps, learning portals, learning games, authoring tools and consultancy; so you will need to be extremely creative, business savvy and ready for a challenge.

Reporting to and working alongside a LEO Account Director you will develop and manage accounts within specific client sectors.

 
Skills Range:

Account Management

  • Working with an Account Director to shape the long-term strategic direction of the account and ensuring current activities and budgets provide future opportunities.
  • Input into brainstorms and aiding development of the strategic and creative direction of accounts.
  • Ensure programme strategy reflects/takes account of new issues/changes in the external environment.
  • Ensure staff ownership and responsibility for projects from all members of staff on the team.
  • Maintain strategic overview of accounts in partnership with an Account Director, and proactively advise client on new issues/external environment and contribute to strategic planning meetings with client.
  • Support bids and proposals within the sector, liaison with the Bid team, new business and sales teams to create and deliver bids and proposals to clients.
  • Attendance and input into relevant sales pitches.
  • Keep abreast of outside issues and events and regularly review impact on programmes and client objectives.
  • Undertake client appraisal mechanism and ensure outcomes are implemented.
  • Responsible for account profitability.
  • Responsible for regularly reviewing and providing accurate phasing of budgets to ensure forecast and capacity/resource reports are accurate.
  • Responsible for negotiating and establishing financial arrangements with client.
  • Ideally 2 years minimum in a previous account management role(s)

Client Liaison

  • Actively participate in the development of client marketing strategy and thinking.
  • Maintain social contact with client personnel and contact about the strategic direction of the account, staffing, issues etc.
  • Establish and maintain a role as consultant/adviser to client in partnership with Consultants where appropriate.
  • Responsibility for ensuring accurate, timely financial management procedures are implemented by the account team.

Growing Existing Business

  • Establish and maintain a good working knowledge of all LEO & Group companies’ offerings.
  • Create and develop opportunities for growing existing business within current client pool for LEO and other LTG companies.
  • Supporting account mapping activities and providing an overview of the hierarchy, strategy and key stakeholders etc. to the business.
  • Identify and follow up new business opportunities within existing client pool

LEO

  • Ensure understanding and implementation of all company procedures and standards.
  • Good competency in all company computer packages.
  • Input ideas to the LEO Management Team and take responsibility for agreed aspects of the operating company Business Plan.
  • Have a sound understanding of our relationship with other LTG companies, and the resources and support this offers us.
 
Key Area: BDM/Strategy/Sales 15-1199.08BDM/Strategy/Sales
Salary: £35 - 40k dependent on experience
Attendance: Full-Time
