Job Description:

We are currently looking for a talented Bid Executive to join our team at LTG.

The Bid Team supports all of Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG plc)’s companies in preparing winning proposals. Working as part of our creative Bid Team, you will be responsible for preparing and editing our high quality proposal documentation, preparing presentations and maintaining our ‘bid bank’ materials.

You will take a proactive approach to working with the Bid Manager, Sales Team and the rest of the Bid Team in co-ordinating bids. The successful candidate will need excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a keen eye for detail.

The role involves working across the LTG companies, and part of this will include compiling detailed technical responses. Therefore, a level of technical understanding or familiarity with software and/or learning technologies would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Completing PQQs, ITTs and RfPs in collaboration with and on behalf of the sales team
  • Formatting, proofreading and assembling bid documentation
  • Attending and proactively contributing to bid planning meetings
  • Collating and producing written content for proposals
  • Assisting with compiling responses to technical questionnaires
  • Adapting boilerplate text to develop proposals for clients
  • Writing compelling case studies for inclusion in proposals
  • Working with the sales team to help develop client presentations
  • Co-ordinating the proposal creation process and ensuring deadlines are met
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the department from time to time.
 
Skills Range:
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent editing and proofing ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and InDesign
  • Deadline driven with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, responding to individual requests in a positive, timely manner and liaising with a wide range of colleagues across the world
  • Ability to understand and manipulate technical information in response to a client’s specific requirements
  • Ability to work flexibly between bid activities as required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand client needs in relation to the wider market
  • Interpersonal skills – confident and able to progress chase to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Experience working within a bid team would be advantageous
