Job Description:

Owing to Artemis’ continued expansion, an exciting new senior role has now arisen for a Client Project Director to join our hard working team. We are interested to hear from highly motivated and experienced candidates with a passion for all areas of digital marketing.

You will be a strategic thinker who is used to analysing complex business situations, identify growth opportunities and implement solutions within a team. As a senior member of the Artemis team, you will be expected to provide positive leadership to our dedicated Account Managers, delivering exceptional levels of client service and relationship management.

Key responsibilities for the post of Client Project Director include:

  • Close collaboration with internal SEO and Account Management teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery, while maintaining positive, efficient and proactive communication with all key stakeholders
  • Responsibility for day-to-day line management of the Account Management team, along with development and coordination of individual PDPs and KPIs in line with Artemis’ business strategies, cultivating professional standards of behaviour, work ethic and performance
  • Responsibility for key client account management together with the Managing Director where required, and developing skills among the Account Managers to confidently handle larger client accounts
  • Promoting ongoing positive and collaborative business relationships with Artemis’ extensive client base, using your excellent client management and communication skills to develop deeper understandings and foster closer cooperation whilst identifying further business opportunities.
  • Acquiring and maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of both Artemis’ and clients’ business strategies and ensuring overall quality of product offerings and service delivery to meet clients’ expectations in conjunction with the Operations Director
  • Taking ownership of client project requests and requirements and making sure that these are communicated to internal teams and facilitated from beginning to end and within the required time frame and to defined delivery criteria
  • Responsibility for creating relevant and effective marketing and sales support collateral for use with client acquisition and retention initiatives, and for chairing and facilitating sales and project meetings with all stakeholders as necessary
Skills Range:

To be considered for the role of Client Project Director, you will be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A relevant degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project management role, gained within a Digital Agency and including web builds, branding etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of the processes and technologies required to deliver digital projects within an agency environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with project management, time and resource management tools
  • Experience of working in a fast paced industry with competing client demands, and an exceptional ability to work methodically and with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong self-motivational and confident interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across all levels of management and with all stakeholders
  • Personal leadership qualities to nurture and inspire internal teams and develop external client relationships, combined with the ability to respond to change and take decisions decisively
  • Strong project and programme planning skills to ensure effective management of client expectations to deliver relevance and quality on a daily basis
  • A demonstrable passion and shared ambition to deliver client business objectives from the very outset, and to ensure that each project makes a positive contribution to the overall client strategy
  • Experience of effectively managing and balancing the needs of the client, Artemis’ business objectives and the service delivery teams
Person Specification:

Important personal qualities the Client Project Director should bring to the role include:

  • A natural and confident communicator with a flair for building and nurturing strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen to identify business opportunities for clients and for Artemis, while delivering excellent results
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and a keen understanding of the importance of technical and financial data
  • A keen team player across the board, able to take charge of business problems in a calm and professional manner and turn strategy into successful implementation
  • First rate project management skills, from interpreting the client brief to communicating with service delivery teams to managing, meeting and exceeding client expectations
  • Responsive can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise client needs across multiple accounts, often in the face of rapidly changing needs
