Pragmatic has been on quite an extraordinary journey over the last few years, growing to a team of 43 since 2012. This growth has been powered by winning some fantastic clients, including enterprise and global brands. We now need a Sales Director to find our next wave of strategic clients and help us achieve our vision for the company.

Job Description:

Our Sales Director will work closely with the Director to lead on new business and business development activities, support our Client Services team in identifying new products and services, and be a leading public facing member of the team. Our Sales Director will have an entrepreneurial mindset and have experience in business scaling.

 

Responsibilities

This role will sit on the Leadership Team and work closely with Pragmatic's Founder and our Strategy Director. The Sales Director will play a vital role in shaping the future of the company, and will have autonomy to build this side of the business in their vision!

  • Lead on creating strategies and campaigns to hit ambitious New Business targets
  • Representing Pragmatic at networking, conference and other events
  • Supported Client Services team in selling into strategic clients
  • Successfully integrated LinkedIn outreach
  • Develop and work with Marketing to launch new services and products
  • Support Finance and Client Services in implementing realtime business reporting (ie P&L)
  • Investigated ways to tap into new markets internationally
 
Skills Range:
  • Have led a successful sales or business development department, ideally within the web build or digital space
  • Have worked with multiple internal and external stakeholders to win work
  • Have consistently hit personal targets and supported others in hitting theirs
  • Be experienced in utilising multichannel marketing and sales tools to build a healthy pipeline of genuine opportunities
  • Have delved into new markets and established new verticals
  • Have proven ability to close big deals and start long-term strategic relationships
  • 3+ years experience leading and managing a Sales/Business Development function preferably in a digital agency
  • Strong CRM and reporting/admin (Hubspot ideally) capability
