Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Content Writer to support Learning Technology Group’s plc (LTG) attraction strategy with the creation of well-written, relevant and SEO-optimised content to drive website traffic and develop industry reputation across the Group brands.
Reporting to the Content and Press Specialist, the Content Writer is expected to create well-researched content (long form and short form) for brand blogs, websites and industry publications.

Skills Range:

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Support content and press strategies across all LTG brands
  • Create a diverse range of well-written content demonstrating expertise and thought leadership across the Group, to include:
  1. Press releases
  2. Blogs
  3. Ebooks, whitepapers and other long-form resources
  4. Podcasts
  5. Interview transcripts
  6. Advertising and print copy
  7. Website content
  8. Award and conference speaker submissions
  • Ensure all content supports the SEO objectives of each brand
  • Support evolution of each brand’s tone of voice
  • Identify key trends for inclusion within content strategy
  • Proofread and peer review content created by fellow Content writers to ensure quality control of all brand material
  • Feed into the Group’s communication strategy as outlined by LTG’s Content and PR Specialist and Head of Marketing
  • Update and maintain each brand’s editorial calendar
Person Specification:
  • Strong research and copywriting skills (online and offline)
  • Attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of writing
  • Experience working within a marketing team
  • Knowledge of reporting law and limitations
  • Approachable working style with ability to interview senior stakeholders
  • SEO expertise
  • Knowledge of e-learning/training market advantageous
  • Aware of latest developments in innovative technology
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to write in UK and US English
