Radar One Media is an established Brighton based b2b Marketing & Events company. We launched a new b2b events division to capitalize on the tremendous growth in emerging technologies and the huge impact these technologies are having on enterprise.

Our events and digital platforms help leading technology companies increase their credibility through thought leadership, raising brand awareness via great content and to connect with senior level, pre-qualified decision makers in enterprise who are looking to invest in new and emerging technologies.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for building relationships and selling delegate attendance to Radar One Media's portfolio of business events.

An exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic media and events company focused on new technologies. With excellent career progression, you will be directly responsible for growing quality, senior audiences at our technology-led events across various industry sectors, including fintech, finance, manufacturing and sensor innovation industries.

Skills Range:

• Securing paid and VIP delegate attendance and revenue to Radar One Media's business conferences and exhibitions by phone
• Social media outreach to warm up prospects and potential clients
• Researching and gaining in depth market knowledge about the industry sector you are working in – understanding the event/industry subject matter and topics that would interest a potential delegate
• Building rapport and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Collaborating with other departments within ROM and sharing insight and feedback about the market – including operations, sponsorship sales, marketing and production
• Hitting and exceeding agreed sales KPIs and sales activity metrics
• Reporting and forecasting your sales pipeline to management on a weekly basis
• Attending your events on site and managing the end to end CX with your clients

Person Specification:

• Is self-motivated, determined and driven to achieve success
• Has an interest in new technologies, keeps up to date with business trends
• Has a positive outlook and is a team player
• Has good business and commercial sense
• Has a professional telephone manner and is comfortable talking to senior executives
• Has a degree level education or higher 


Key Area: Sales Sales
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Attendance: Full-Time
