We are part of the David C Cook family, a nonprofit resource provider serving the global Church with Christian resources.

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Marketing Graphic Designer to lead all design and creative efforts for the UK team, with an innovative and forward-thinking approach and knowledge of current trends in design and visual communication. You will be leading album concept and cover projects, photo shoots, developing digital marketing packs, sales catalogue and social media visual strategy that inspire people to engage with our brands and artists. Ensuring that schedules are maintained and delivery is on time to meet the needs of Production, Marketing and Sales departments.

 
Skills Range:
  • Design and deliver assigned album / songbook concepts and covers, artwork and content for new releases. Design digital marketing assets, sales catalogue and promotional campaigns, social media visuals, print advertisements etc.
  • Coordinate and execute photoshoots, to ensure desired image/brief is attained during the shoot.
  • Maintain schedule and update network files for all assigned projects to meet the needs of all departments including Production, Marketing, Sales, etc.
  • Maintain brand standards for all product and marketing pieces.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming meetings with marketing and product groups. Work with internal stakeholders to understand design needs and advise on best practices, offering solutions that take into account brand, format and timing.
  • Proactively seek means to increase design skills and capabilities, while also learning new tools and processes in an effort to stay in front of current design trends.
 
Person Specification:
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Graphic Design within music, photography, design, motion graphics, advertising, print or related fields
  • Excellent creative, fresh and original thinker
  • Self-Starter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organised and accurate
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of current trends in design and visual communication
  • Innovative and forward-thinking approach
