Job Description:

What will you be doing?

As a leading member of the team, you’ll have a clear vision of what great learning looks like and you’ll strive to weave this into all the courses you create with us. You’ll help set up our projects for success by running engaging design workshops to analyse clients’ needs in a consultative, authoritative and imaginative way.

Working with the production team (including Instructional Designers, Graphic Artists, Developers and Project Coordinators), you'll then create innovative and effective designs for every client budget. You'll champion these designs internally and externally, using your strong communication skills to help your colleagues bring your creative vision to life.

Writing and editing are part of your normal workday and your strong analytical skills help you review, prioritise and organise clients’ source content. You manage your time well working across multiple projects, balancing tight deadlines as you go.

Skills Range:

Your skills and experience

You have at least two years’ experience as a digital learning designer
You have led on several projects from conception to delivery and are now ready to take the next step
Word, PowerPoint and the rest of the Office 365 suite are a doddle for you
You have keen eye for detail in both written and visual media
You’re a dynamic, self-motivated, focused and energetic person with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Other things we’re looking for

Experience designing courses for a range of authoring tools such as Storyline, Adapt and Captivate are a real advantage

A keen interest in current learning industry trends and best practice
You live within commuting distance of Shoreham-by-Sea
Willingness to travel to clients with occasional overnight stays

About you

As an experienced digital learning designer, you’re used to coming up with imaginative solutions that meet your clients’ needs. You confidently explain your design thinking to both clients and colleagues alike, detailing how your ideas help ensure successful learning outcomes. You’re now ready to make the next move in your career, to lead on projects as a key member of a growing team.
