Further my Future is a start-up technology company developing a product that helps young people make good decisions about their future career. This means providing better knowledge and resources about all the future possibilities that could be created for them.

We’re a small team with big plans and we’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to manage the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing to help take us from start up to established brand.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

If this sounds like you then you will be responsible for:

  • Contribution to the formulation of marketing strategies which build an enduring digital connection with our customers
  • Planning, managing and monitoring Further my Future’s presence across relevant social media spaces
  • Defining and delivering online marketing campaigns to build and optimize our brand across digital channels
  • Sourcing and creating a range of digital marketing content (written, visual, video…)
  • Ensuring that all marketing content is on brand, of the highest possible quality and is in line with the marketing plan
  • Preparing and managing distribution of content through various channels
  • Measure, monitor and report on digital marketing performance using appropriate analytics tools
  • Active management and monitoring of SEO activities
  • Staying abreast of online marketing trends and developments and ensuring that our strategies are current and leverage new developments
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with media and industry agencies
  • Designing, conducting and managing market research activities
  • Attending networking events with occasional requirement to deliver presentations
  • Working closely and supportively with the digital marketing apprentice to develop skills which reinforce our organizational digital marketing capability
  • Contributing of your ideas and energy to help develop the best possible product for our users
 
Skills Range:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing in a similar role
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practice
  • Experience of effectively leveraging a wide range of social media spaces within B2B and B2C contexts
  • Hands on experience of a wide range of tools and platforms for optimizing efforts across marketing campaigns, SEO, analytics, ad serving etc
  • A willingness, interest and capability to remain up-to-date and effective within a rapidly changing digital media environment
  • Skills and experience in creating and editing written content – and able to bring real personality and business focus to all your written copy
  • To be a critical thinker with an analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and great with people
  • Sound basic web development skills and knowledge (HTML5/JavaScript/CSS..) and advanced skills in the full MS Office suite
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality
  • Good visual awareness is essential and graphic design skills are a definite advantage. Experience in video editing would also be welcomed.
  • To be happy to work as part of a team but a confident self-starter who can work with minimum supervision
  • All this combined with passion, enthusiasm and a preparedness to be flexible and adaptable in a rapidly developing and changing business
