We’re looking for an ambitious digital marketing manager to join our customer acquisition and marketing team.

Job Description:


The role will be focused on developing and driving an ambitious customer acquisition strategy via international markets. We are enjoying a period of high growth and have clear traffic goals from our current base of c.200,000 monthly users to 500,000 by 2019 and 1 million by 2020.


We are looking for a talented person to focus on driving traffic to with real responsibility and decision-making authority to build and develop this audience. Alternative Airlines receives users from countries across the globe including US, UK, Canada, Philippines, Malaysia, UAE, Kenya, India and Tanzania.



• Development and execution of SEO strategy, including keyword research and identifying opportunities for growth
• Development of traffic from other channels to including direct, referral and social and very targeted PPC
• Link building with relevant organisations and sites
• Actionable analysis and insight working closely with the Development and Commercial teams
• Developing partner and affiliate online marketing campaigns
• Desire to create content on
• Report building to understand traffic demographics

Skills Range:


• A passion for emerging platforms and a broad knowledge of effective SEO strategies and techniques
• An excellent understanding of Google and Google’s quality guidelines
• An understanding of HTML, CSS and web standards
• Experience of e-commerce in travel and airline preferred, but not essential
• Highly experienced in using of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• A firm grasp of how all marketing channels work and can be used in conjunction with one another
• Analytical, with a proven ability to interpret large amounts of information, and research quickly – and distil the most important/relevant information
