Job Description:

Leading marketing communications agency seeks an ambitious and enthusiastic Digital Sales & Marketing Executive with a solid knowledge of organic social media management and a track record of selling and presenting online media and digital advertising proposals to new business clients.

At least two years experience and heaps of enthusiasm and drive to manage this exciting channel in a roll that is a mixture of 40% new business and 60% account management.

• Social media expert

• Digital strategy and the ability to manage budgets

• Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn content creation and monitoring

• Experience with Hootsuite and or other social media platforms

• Research and Copywriting

• Content creator for social media posts, blogs, email marketing, newsletters and web

• Understand analytics and social media metrics

• Google analytics, social media monitoring tools e.g. Hootsuite, Email monitoring e.g. Campaign Monitor

• New business generation

• Paid digital campaign planning, Google certified

Person Specification:

Your experience will mean that you will be able to:

• Manage existing budgets and social media channels for the agency and it’s clients.

• Strategies, sell, advise and execute on all aspects of digital strategy and budgets across all agency retained clients.

• Be responsible for the agency and it’s clients’ presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, including monitoring and engaging.

• Research and write accurate, relevant and engaging copy.

• Produce written content for social media posts, blogs, email marketing, newsletters and web.

• Understand analytics and social media metrics for client reporting.

• Analyse and create monthly reports on campaigns and activities and look to optimise accordingly (using Google analytics, social media monitoring tools e.g. Hootsuite, Email monitoring e.g. Campaign Monitor).

• Create and execute new digital & social media marketing strategies to grow followers and encourage sales.

• Create and deliver organic content and campaigns across a range of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Prepare and present new business proposals and rigorously pursue new business opportunities.

• Create and implement paid digital campaigns, not essential but would be an advantage.

Salary: 18,000 - 23,000 plus commission dependent on experience
