Seeking an operations superstar for The Escape School’s next stage of growth helping 1000s of Escapees change their careers in London & beyond...

Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for ensuring that:

  • All of the Escape School internal processes are clear, lean, robust and frequently improved upon.
  • Escape School events run smoothly so that the Escape team are always prepared and professional and all attendees feel well looked after.
  • The rest of the Escape team feel well supported and can count on you to help solve any problem big or small.
  • Relationships are maintained and built with venues and partners so we can get the word out and help more people.

Person Specification:

What will the role entail?

1. Own Escape’s event calendar.

  • Scheduling events, corresponding with venues and catering, tracking ticket sales, attendance, and feedback.
  • Working with the Marketing Manager to ensure we reach the most people possible for each event. Events will include: evening workshops, Accelerator evening and weekends, Demo Days, Ship It School, partnership events and more.
  • Managing the relationships with venues to ensure we keep everyone happy and grow the community and ultimately our impact.
  • Reaching out to and liaising with speakers for any events we run.
  • Occasionally hosting the events, or working with our faculty to get the right people in to host them.

2. Accelerator Support.

  • Managing the logistics of our Accelerator programmes, so the facilitators and attendees can focus all of their attention on the content itself.
  • Sorting out printing and materials for the Accelerators so that we have everything we need to ensure things run smoothly.
  • Occasionally attending Accelerator evenings or weekends to help out. Giving you the opportunity to learn what we teach, and getting involved with the escapees we support.

3. Internal Escape operations.

  • Helping maintain process within the School team, helping coordinate meetings and making sure everyone is well supported.
  • Supporting the hiring process for new faculty members and School team members.
  • Helping brief the rest of the team on goings on within the School team and getting input wherever relevant.
  • Always be looking for ways to do things more efficiently and effectively, and then implementing relevant changes to make sure they stick!

4. Special projects.

  • Supporting the rest of the School team on special projects that help deliver the Escape School strategy, for example, recruitment plans, new product ideas and research.
  • Support the team with general admin and operations where needed, e.g. social media, content, liaising with partners and suppliers...

Location & Hours


Although a very autonomous role, you’ll report to the COO, and will work closely with our Head of Admissions, Marketing Manager and delivery teams.


We’re a small team based out of The Escape House (Escape HQ) in sunny Brighton, by the sea. However, our programmes and events mostly run in London so the role will be based in Brighton but will require some work in London for events.


This is a full-time role which requires you to attend evening and weekend workshops on occasion.
