Front-end email/web developer - Mint Creative

Brighton and Hove

Closing date: 11/09/2017

If you’d like to work on world-class brands – absolutely smack bang in the middle of Brighton’s funky North Laine – in a small agency where you can really make a difference, read on!

We’re Mint Creative. We produce high quality creative solutions for premium brands, luxury travel firms and high-end catering companies to name but a few.

Job Description:

We're looking for a front-end developer – your main passion will be next-gen responsive emails and websites. You’ll be someone who wants to be part of a team, enjoys working with a variety of clients, is up for kicking new ideas around (yes, we want to hear what you think) and enjoys the adrenalin rush of (occasionally over-) ambitious deadlines.

You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of how to manage both projects and clients. You’ll also be someone who considers yourself a friendly, outgoing communicator who takes pride in your work.

We’re a small team who value innovation, so you’ll be encouraged to seek out training and conferences to expand your skill set – all paid for by us. We’ll meet over a coffee (or tea) once a month to make sure you’re happy, review progress and agree goals together.

You’ll see the results of what you create in days and weeks, not months and years. We’d also love your insight and input into the email and web products we’re developing ourselves, so you could be a part of some very clever new stuff too.

Our hours are 9 – 5.30 or 8.30 – 5, whichever suits you best. We offer a competitive salary based on your level of experience. We also offer an annual bonus, which is based on your performance throughout the year. If you like shiny new things, you’ll be pleased to know we’re also in the cycle-to-work scheme!

Skills Range:
  • HTML5 & HMTL for email
  • CSS 3
  • Wordpress, Drupal or similar

An understanding of any the following would also be an advantage:

  • GIT

  • Laravel, Codeigniter, Raw PHP or similar.

  • able to work both as part of a team and independently
  • calm under pressure – with good problem-solving skills
  • reliable and take pride in the quality of your work
  • fluent in English and be able to write competently.
