Job Description:

As Marketing Analyst for our award winning Tailor made brands (Hayes & Jarvis, Austravel, Sovereign and Citalia) you will truly be at the heart of our business. You will use your inquisitive and challenging mind to deliver insightful analysis on the performance of our marketing activities across all channels. You will lead the insight on the effectiveness of all marketing activities, online and offline and will constantly monitor, review and report on the effectiveness of all online web journeys. You will use your entrepreneurial skills and inquisitive mind to proactively develop constantly improving targeting models and develop ground-breaking new techniques to segment and target our customers.

You will also be key to analysing our customer base and trading queries ensuring that all business questions are answered in a timely manner. You will be responsible for presentation of your insight to the wider Marketing Leadership Team which will drive actions designed to address your analysis.

What you will be doing:

You will take responsibility for all analysis designed to improve marketing campaign efficiency and effectiveness, website journeys and trading. You will constantly analyse web journeys to determine their effectiveness and produce clear proposals for remedial action which will be presented to the business teams for action. You will produce a weekly suite of reports which will be used to develop the business including a report on marketing actions and other business KPIs. You will work closely with the SEO Manager and PPC Specialist to support their activities, ensuring continued optimization. Having access to our customer database you will be responsible for customer database marketing analysis which will be designed to offer business and strategy insight and problem solving. As Marketing Analyst you will:

- Produce an agreed suite of web analytics and business analytics
- Produce automated weekly, monthly & ad-hoc reports (Excel, BI tools, Google Analytics)
- Establish “dashboard” style online reporting from a range of different data sources for senior management team in the areas of acquisition, conversion and retention
- Develop marketing campaign analysis & feed back to the business on performance post-campaign
- Be one of the business owners for our analytics tools & tags (Google Analytics) and point of audit for web data to ensure accuracy
- Support the Ecommerce Manager to deliver a conversion optimisation programme
- Proactively identify potential online journey improvements & recommend A/B/ multivariate testing
- Collaborate in customer data collection, segmentation and analysis
- Identify & prioritise opportunities for conversion & retention improvement across all channels
- Contribute data-driven rationales to define changes to our websites
- Keep current with new market trends and changes for ecommerce


Skills Range:

What we are looking for:

- 3+ years’ experience in a B2C marketing environment
- 2 years minimum working with analysis tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience of database management/query tools desirable (Faststats / SQL / etc.)
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills
- Experience in web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, end users and technical resources.
- Highly numerate and commercially aware
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Delivery to time, budget and quality expectation, across multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial. Must be proactive
- Must be able to work as and be part of a team
