Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketeer to join our friendly team on a part-time, fixed term contract (maternity leave cover). This is a great opportunity to make your mark in this important field and help us increase our global presence.

The successful candidate will work closely with our communications director and in-house design team on a wide range of marketing platforms to increase sales and brand awareness. Proven track record, good knowledge and experience of digital marketing and SEO are essential.

You will be self-motivated, creative and hardworking with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential. You will be proficient in all types of marketing, social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.) PR and communication activity, with a good command of English (including excellent spelling and grammar) and the ability to write clear, concise promotional copy targeted at different markets.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, as would a degree or equivalent qualification in marketing.

Duties include:

• Planning emarketing schedule, developing new campaigns and writing ongoing emarketing copy
• Researching and monitoring competitors’ marketing activity
• Planning and scheduling social media marketing: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn (including product advertising).
• Outreaching our products to new markets to increase acquisition marketing
• Research and plan our external advertising – including external online directory listings
• Update and monitor our Google Ads (Adwords) existing campaigns including budget, CPC, adverts, keywords and conversion goals – and create new ones when necessary
• Monitor and review our website analytics using Google Analytics, Search Console and Agency Analytics
• Track ROI and improve where necessary
• Copywriting and editing of marketing material
• Plan and execute our marketing strategy for 2020 – promotions, awareness days, conferences and seminars to attend…

 
Skills Range:
  • Create, produce and track digital and conventional marketing campaigns and social media content
  • Developing marketing strategies
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SEO and all social media platforms
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills – able to manage own projects efficiently and effectively 
  • Confident, hardworking and with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Copywriting and editing
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Mac experience
  • At least 1–2 years experience in the workplace

Additional Information:

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.

Fixed-term, up to 12-month contract (maternity cover), minimum 3 days a week (some flexibility over hours).
