Job Description:

The Projects are currently seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Meeting and Events Coordinator to join the small team at The Projects Brighton.

Selling meeting space during work hours, enhancing our internal community calendar, and hosting external events, The Projects Brighton deliver a large range of events; from small internal meetings to large evening parties and exhibitions.

The role will manage a variety of events from initial enquiry to delivery. In addition to management of The Projects internal events the post holder is expected to independently build relationships with external clients to pursue new commercial business and increase sales.

In this role you will be a project manager, event planner and marketing executive all at once. Basically, you will run the show, building relationships with stakeholders, handling complaints and customer enquiries, dealing with problems as and when they arise, and making sure every single event at The Projects runs as smoothly as possible.

You will be responsible for ensuring the overall financial success of the meeting and events department with the aim to increase sales over the coming years.

The ideal candidate will bring superb communication skills and will have experience in a similar role. They will be organised, have exceptional attention to detail and be highly motivated to work in an environment where customer satisfaction is at the centre of everything we do.
