Homeflow’s Websites and Lead Generation tools are designed using scientific, data-driven software to give their clients a competitive edge, which are used to continually measure and test using market-leading analytics.

Homeflow’s services are used by more than 500 UK Estate and Lettings Agents, from small independent offices to national corporate chains to help grow and out-compete the online-only players with the right, powerful tools. Some of their higher profile clients include Belvoir, Northwood, Winkworth and Leaders to name a few.

The Homeflow suite of products (which includes Instant Valuations, Website Benchmarking, Lead Ingestion tools etc) have been built following high quality coding standards and development practices to produce cutting edge software for the property industry.

There are hundreds of thousands of property records processed a day through custom inbound / outbound data feeds in backend systems as well as delivering tens of millions of page impressions a month across the frontend platform.

About the Team

We have a team of approaching 50 people, with 15 in engineering (split roughly 50/50 front end and back end) and QA / technical project mgmt. The front end of the websites are designed by third parties, so what we refer to as front end engineering will cover some true front end presentational work, but is also mixed with supporting a larger external network of front end engineers and designers.

We work in light, airy offices in Brighton, and have a friendly, open culture.


About the Role

Due to a high level of growth and an ambitious product roadmap there is a need to scale up the development operations. Homeflow is looking to hire another talented developer to join the vibrant Brighton team. They must be able to demonstrate thorough OO programming skills as well as have a decent understanding of TDD and BDD techniques. Ideally a candidate would have a good understanding of SOLID principles of development and be able to use design patterns where appropriate.

It would also be advantageous to be confident in front end application design including HTML / CSS and Javascript as well.

Successful candidates will integrate into new and existing agile product teams in a hands on, friendly and creative working environment in sunny Brighton (10 mins walk from the station).
