dataJAR is a fast-expanding, forward thinking technology company based in the heart of the bustling Lanes in central Brighton. We are seeking a switched on, talented individual to help our exciting business grow.

Job Description:

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of day-to-day tasks, while driving a culture of continuous improvement as part of our passionate team. You will be quick thinking and thrive in a busy, fast moving environment. Able to work on your own initiative, your role will be a pivotal one that keeps the cogs of the dataJAR wheel turning

Working hours: This is a full-time role with potential for flexibility and work-from-home options for the right candidate.

 
Skills Range:
  • Computer literacy, specifically a working knowledge of Apple macOS and iOS
  • Experience with finance systems such as Xero
  • Attention to detail
  • An aptitude with numbers
  • Exemplary communication and organisation skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • A passion for technology
 
Key Area: Office/Administration 43-9199.00Office/Administration
Salary: Salary: £22 – £25k per annum (dependent on experience)
Attendance: Full-Time
 
Additional Information:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing new administrative systems using a range of software
  • Sales administration and support, generating quotes, managing subscriptions and so forth
  • Scheduling engineering resources and diary management
  • Responding to customer enquiries and requests
  • Reviewing and updating company policies and ensuring they are observed
  • Servicing customer reviews and action planning
  • Marketing support and event planning
  • Processing supplier invoices, payment of salaries and expenses
  • Credit control and implementing new administrative systems using a range of software
  • Sales administration and support, generating quotes, managing subscriptions and so forth
