Job Description:

We are looking for a PPC specialist to be responsible for the hands on management of our award winning, luxury Tailormade brands (Hayes & Jarvis, Sovereign, Austravel, Citalia). You will develop and grow the existing Paid Search business and develop and execute strategies that support our business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and entrepreneurial professional to develop and execute our online Paid Media strategy to deliver stretching business objectives. There will also be a chance to develop your knowledge and experience in other disciplines with the support of the team, so this really is a good development opportunity for you.

PPC is a key marketing channel and the team is fully integrated with the business, so not only will you be managing the Google and Bing accounts, you will be working closely with our marketing, call center, product and commercial teams.

You will also have responsibility for the management of our Media agency, who have responsibility for other online paid media such as Paid Social and Display advertising. We have ambitious growth plans and this role is vital for successfully driving these plans.

You will be entrepreneurial, have excellent analytical skills and an ability to turn analysis into insight and into action. You enjoy working as part of a wider marketing team and delivering on overall group marketing objectives, as well as being able to work independently.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the development of our Paid Search programme and the management of our online agency to deliver effective and efficient Paid Social and Programmatic Display activity. You will work closely with the Senior PPC Specialist, Head of E-Commerce and the wider marketing team to ensure that our PPC strategy and execution deliver to the wider Tailormade marketing team and commercial objectives. You will lead regular updates with our agency support partners to ensure that our marketing spend is optimised to best effect and report on the effectiveness of all PPC and other online paid channels and develop a constant test / learn programme designed to improve effectiveness and efficiency. You will be responsible for management of one direct report whom you will mentor and develop into a PPC specialist. You will also:

- Deliver a strategy across PPC designed to achieve business objectives – this to include Paid Media strategies and executions and technical suite
- Assist managing our agency partners to deliver to business objectives with constant demand for delivery of improvements in metrics
- Deliver an efficient and ever-improving return from PPC, increasing both numbers and efficiency
- Deliver high quality marketing campaigns designed to attract new customers
- Build marketing campaigns designed to enhance brand metrics as agreed
- Assist with building long-term strategy designed to deliver business objectives across all channels creating a seamless journey for the customer
- Deliver high quality tactical marketing campaigns in line with agreed marketing strategies
- Deliver test frameworks to constantly improve our activities
- Report on the effectiveness of PPC and other paid media
- Collaborate across the business with sales and trade teams to ensure cross-functional campaigns
- Keep current with new market trends and changes for ecommerce to ensure expertise, experience and best practice is shared across Travelopia

 
Skills Range:

- An in-depth understanding of PPC, Paid Social and Display accounts and their management
- Experience of other online paid media preferred
- A highly analytical individual able to deliver business benefit from analysis
- Agency management experience preferred
- An excellent eye for detail
- A highly flexible, positive and resilient attitude with the ability to be innovative and collaborate
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- An ability to deliver quality to time, budget & expectation across multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
